Why can’t more extra flights be mounted?
As of 26th April we have mounted a total of 12 extra flights utilising jumbo jets, and redeployed its technical as well as cabin crew, in an all out effort to get its stranded passengers to their destination as quickly as possible. We are trying very hard, with the number of aircraft and crew we have available, to clear the remaining passengers as quickly as possible.
