Allotments sites cannot be built on with out the permission of the Government and some of the allotment sites are not appropriate following site investigation. If we do nothing about the interior of Dean Bank then the original problem of market decline remains and we would have accelerated the pace by placing newer more appropriate houses on the outskirts of Dean Bank encouraging more people to move out of the terraces and into the new homes.
