Why can LAN connection be done through telephone wire??
LAN is a Local Area Connection. I assume you mean a multiplayer game that doesn’t need internet access, if you use the internet it’s no longer “local”. There are (expensive) devices that superimpose digital signals over telephone (and electrical) wireing to achieve speed similar to a network connection but it’s far cheaper to just use wire that’s designed for the speed.
