Why cant kindergarten teacher teach older grades ?
Don’t know Australian law so will give you US version and it will give you info to ask right questions. First there is certification or credentials to teach.. There are certain education and classes for various grades or certifications. In the US a bachelor degree is required for all grades and within 5 years a masters. There is early childhood certification (K-3) and middle childhood (4-6 or 8), can’t remember which. The HS certification. I think 6-8 or 9 grades may be another. Dome states, like California have K-8 certification. You or she should be able to find certification. Someone with early childhood can’t teach middle childhood unless they also have middle childhood certification or unless no certified and qualified teacher can be found and then a temporary certificate can be had for 1 year. So questions you need to know is what degree the teacher has. Would that qualify her to teach higher grade? Then is she certified to teach something more than K? If both answers are that sh
