Why can I watch the A&A RTS films (.RFM files) in Windows Media Player, Real Media Player, or Quicktime?
The RFM files are not movies in the sense that they have actual video footage. Instead the files are pure text files documenting the movements and actions that occurred in a game. In order to be visualized, the RFM files must be interpreted by the Axis & Allies RTS game engine. This is why various movie players cannot display the RFM films.
