Why can I use the View options for Cookies etc, after checking the boxes in the Settings dialog?
A. When you select one of these options from the View menu and you have not specified the paths in the Settings dialog, you will be given an error. To prevent this in future, go to Tools > Settings. Once there, for each option, click the and locate the path. This need only be done once during the use of Index.dat Suite and will allow you to use the View menu associated with those items. We are working on updating Index.dat Suite to automatically detect these and will release the update in due course.
