Why can?t I use lassos or man catchers?
Lassos and man catchers are on the forbidden weapons list because they are designed specifically to catch limbs. It is entirely too easy to catch someone’s head, pop limbs out of joint, cut off circulation, and so on. Even flails, which are allowed, are only allowed a 6″ chain and that chain must be covered with foam rings to reduce the likelihood of wrapping limbs and even weapons.
