The PulseDose triggering isn’t significantly affected by the cannula length, but the delivery of oxygen is. If the cannula is longer than 35 feet, the oxygen pulse is delayed. If the oxygen is not delayed at the leading edge of inspiration, the therapeutic benefit will not be realized.
