You might be talking to “The Other Forsythe”(TM). There’s a ghost in the Skara Brae town hall that looks like Forsythe, but isn’t. This was fixed in more recent versions of Exult but with games started with earlier versions this bug is still present. You need to start a new game of Exult to fix this. But this bug poses no problem, so if you don’t want to start a new game, just ignore that clone and search for the real Forsythe.
