Why can I share content between by TANDBERG Codian MCU and my TANDBERG or Polycom endpoint?

0

The TANDBERG Codian MCU series supports H.239 content sharing. TANDBERG Classic endpoints use a proprietary content sharing system called DuoVideo which predates H.239. Similarly, Polycom has a proprietary content sharing system called People+Content. TANDBERG MXP endpoints support both DuoVideo and H.239 content sharing: to send H.239 content from a TANDBERG MXP endpoint a Natural Presenter option key must be installed; no key is required to receive H.239 content. The Polycom VSX and newer endpoints support H.239 but in some cases it will be necessary to enable H.239 before it can be used.
