Why can’t I record attendance at an evening meeting as CPD, even though I haven’t written a report?
You can. CPD is about learning something new. If you did this through your attendance, it is CPD and therefore should be recorded. If you wrote a report, you will have spent more time and made the learning more effective, so have acquired even more CPD. If you didn’t learn anything new, it’s not CPD, whether you wrote a report or not (although it should still be recorded as an ICE activity).
