If you notice you can’t connect using Winfire’s login application, try one of these two items. – exit Winfire, make sure it’s not in the task bar, completely close the program – press CTRL-ALT-DEL and see if Winfire or WINIPCFG is still running, close it if it is – right click on networking neighborhood and scroll down to properties – now click on the TCP\IP stack for your DSL device (3060 or 4060) – click remove and reboot – When WinME starts back up, right click on network neighborhood again and scroll down to properties – click on add a service, click on TCP\IP and it will automatically add TCP\IP for your DSL device. – click OK and but DO NOT REBOOT, even though the next window asks you to. – now logon using Winfire and you’re connected.
