Why can’t I put ElyteSport Concentrate in juice?
The body spends a great deal of energy keeping pH balance (all the + and – of chemistry) in good working order principally involving the gut, kidneys and lung. The electrolytes are better assimilated and utilized in liquids and foods like water, milk, soups, stews, mashed potatoes, sauces etc. Fruit juice can carry a strong pH such as orange juice which changes the pH of the electrolyte concentrate and should not be used. The high sugar content precipitates the alkaline minerals out of solution before the body can assimilate and use them.
