Why can I open a MyXU e-mail attachment?
The problem may be that your computer doesn’t have a program capable of viewing the file type. The attachment may be in an uncommon file type which would need a specialized program to view or you may be using a different version of the software application. For example a Word document written in Office XP may not open properly in Office 97. If this is the case, you would need to have either the same program that was used to create the file, or another capable of handing files in the same format, installed on your computer. E-mail the sender and ask them to advise you. Many times they can save the file in a different format so that you will be able to open it.
