Why can’t I just send meeting invitations from Outlook, iCal, Entourage, or Google Calendar?
Unlike your calendar alone, Tungle allows you to propose multiple meeting times in one invitation. True, you could do that in an email, but then you’d have to deal with all the replies, and try to dig out that one time that works for everyone. And with email, there’s always the chance of accidentally double-booking yourself in the confusion of having to go back and forth between your calendar and your inbox. With Tungle, you propose all the times you want, and invitees simply select the ones that work for them. Tungle then does the work of identifying the common times that work for everyone. In the meantime, you can go ahead and fill up your calendar worry-free. If you add an event that overlaps one of your proposed times, Tungle will simply update your meeting invitation to remove that times, and you won’t be double booked.
