Why can I just download a single piece of sheet music in PDF format?
Unfortunately at this time, we are not able to offer electronic download of full pieces of sheet music. We simply do not have the capability to correctly compensate all the arrangers and composers that are entitled to parts of the proceeds from these sales right now. And most of the publishers we deal with do not allow us to offer their products digitally – even excerpts, which is why many pieces we sell don’t have any examples listed. We do realize that it may be the way of the future in online sheet music sales, however, and have been trying to think of ways to do this legally and profitably for all involved.
