Why cant I hear the ring tone when someone is calling?
There are a few reasons why this may occur: • The signal between the two hearing aids may be weak: Ensure that the neck strap is attached to the Streamer. The neck strap’s built-in antenna enhances quality and stability of the wireless signal. Also, ensure that the neck strap’s safety release has not been opened, as it will have damaged the built-in antenna. If the safety release has been opened, the neck strap will need to be replaced. • The Streamer may be out of the hearing aids range: Make sure the Streamer is kept within 50 cm (20 inches) of the hearing aids. • The hearing aids may not be linked correctly to the Streamer. The linking procedure may have to be repeated at your Hearing Care Centre using the Genie fitting software.
