Why can’t I find WPtouch Pro in the WordPress plugin repository?
In reality, WPtouch Pro is an entirely new plugin based on the same ‘ideas’ that WPtouch 1.x was built from. Because we are charging a fee for upgrades and support, we did not want to release this version into the repository and confuse people when they upgraded. Though WPtouch Pro is GPL and complies with WordPress’ requirements for plugins, we don’t want to confuse or frustrate WPtouch 1.x users with a release that required them to pay to have more updates going forward.
