In the past, applicants entered on the PHS 398 all eleven alpha and numeric characters (e.g., FWA00012345). On the SF424 “RESEARCH & RELATED Other Project Information” form, use only the numeric portion of the FWA (e.g., 00012345) as this field is limited to 10 characters (i.e., drop “FWA”).
