This problem occurs when using dumb terminals and the termdef capability. See the DB/C DX Programmer’s Reference documentation for tdcmp for a description of termdef. Many dumb terminals roll up one line when a character is displayed in the lower right corner character position. Therefore, by default, DB/C suppresses display of that character. In the termdef file, if you specify the no_roll flag function, the character will be displayed. If your terminal can be switched between roll and no-roll modes with an escape sequence, you should specify the enable_roll and disable_roll terminal control string functions.
