Why can I delete personal files from the D: drive on the Word Processing stations?

All of the public computers at the Library have been configured with the stricted security so users with normal public logins can not delete any files, folder, directories or applications from these machines. If you have saved personal information in a file on the D: drive you may do one of two things to remove your personal information from the station–either open the document and delete all content from that document and then resave the empty document or you may ask the Computer Aide on duty to delete a specific file or folder from the D: drive on the station you were using.
