Why can I chat in Nascar 2?
You cannot chat in Nascar 2 while driving as you could in Nascar 1. However, you can use the auto-chat option while driving by pressing the CTRL and function keys 1 through 10. You can customize your messages by editing autochat.msg in your Nascar 2 directory. Be nice! If you are having trouble chatting in the chat screens of Nascar 2, it is NOT your game. The place that you need to click is deceiving and specific. Click to the right of the L-shaped cursor above “Event and Length”, NOT directly on the “L”. You will see a flashing cursor when it is OK to type. If you do not get a flashing cursor, you are clicking in the wrong spot.
