Why cant I change my username and boatname with the edit profile feature?
Username is one of two unique identifiers of the skippers on VSK Match (the other is your ID number). Username is only used for login purposes and to prevent accidentially changing your username into something you would forget, the system has that restriction. Boatname is how the other skipper recognize you – your VSK Match identity. If you change it people would loose track of you ie. for submitting victory etc. If you have a reason for changing your username or boatname (ie. typo when creating profile) contact an administrator. I have just created a profile, but I cant login? To make sure you entered your emailadress correct the system will send you an email with an activation link. You NEED to press this link before you can log into the site. Your profile will NOT show on the skippers list untill its activated (your profile will not show on the ranking untill you have raced).
