Why can’t I catch hardhead catfish? Are they really nuisance fish?
There is no shortage of hardhead catfish, so evidently, the methods you are using are not catching them. When we have very high salinities in most of our bays, they move further out from shore. Perhaps where you are fishing is not holding hardhead catfish like normal. Actually I am pleased to say that they are good to eat. So many people have prejudices against some fish that they are almost never utilized – hardheads are one of those fishes.
