There’s a bug in the boot ROM code of the BF534/6/7 up to silicon revision 0.2 which prevents the BF534/6/7 processors to boot successfully from an Atmel DataFlash device if the boot stream is larger than the SPI’s page size. This will be fixed in silicon revision 0.3.
