Why can Echolink transmit when I hit the space bar?
Be sure that the Echolink window is the “active” window on your PC desktop. For example, if you are adjusting your volume settings then hit your spacebar Echolink will not transmit. First click on your Echolink window to make it active then press the space bar. Remember that the spacebar is tap on and tap off. Do not hold it down like a normal microphone PTT.
