Why can’t clothes be placed in the orange bag?
Charity organisations already provide a service whereby textiles (e.g. clothes, shoes) can be taken to either clothing banks or directly to the charity shops. It would be inappropriate for this authority to redirect this material from going to these facilities for reuse. However, please make sure you only take GOOD QUALITY clothes to any charity banks or shops.
