Why can children under the age of 6 months wear sunscreen?
Under six months is simply too young for a baby to even be exposed to the sun. When babies younger than 6 months are not adequately protected by clothing, The American Academy of Pediatrics says it is safe to use sunscreen on small areas such as baby’s face and back of hands.
