Why can’t an advanced CPR course be approved for GPs’ QA&CPD Program CPR requirement?
The QA&CPD Program’s CPR requirement can not be met by attendance at an advanced or recertification course as these events do not cover basic CPR skills in sufficient detail. The QA&CPD Program’s CPR requirement is in response to a general community expectation that GPs can provide immediate CPR when necessary.
