Why can a student see their printing allowance on their BG1 Card balance?

The printing allowance is being made available in a manner that does not impact the BG1 Card balance and therefore can be used only to cover printing costs. The only time a student will see and use funds from their BG1 Card to cover printing costs is if they have exhausted their printing allowance and have funds available in the BG Bucks account of their BG1 Card.
