You do NOT need to Unfreeze Flexfields to amend Segment Qualifiers from FNDFFMSV 11.5.28 (FND patchset C) onwards, for Release 11i. Due to customer requests, patch 1081772 introduced this change for FNDFFMSV.fmb 115.28, and it is included in R11i FND patchset C onwards. This is now standard functionality. Documentation bug 1377482 has been raised to reflect this change to functionality, since the 11i User’s Guide does not advise of the change.
