Why can the CHI Machine be used by both men and women?
(A) The following (5) principles have been obtained through 38 years of medical and kinematic research by Dr. Inoue as they pertain to human exercise and movement: • Height: Suitable for ages four to hundred. • Swing Frequency 140(+/-5) Cycles / Minute: • Appropiate for people with a heart rate of 60-80/minute. • Healthy people can tolerate even higher frequencies but not so for those who are weak. • Conversely, a lower frequency will not produce any beneficial effect. • Swing Travel (37mm): • Will not injure the spine. • The spine can be injured if the movement is too great and it will not produce any effect if the movement is not great enough. • Swing Angle (12 degrees): • Will not injure internal organs. • Medical testing has shown that 10-12 degree is appropiate for males and 12-15 degrees for women. • So, 12 degrees was selected as being appropiate for men and women. • An average angle too high can harm the internal organs, while if the angle is not great enough, it will not be ef
