Why can i feel my heart beat in my stomach could i be pregnant?

Not likely unless you have missed your period. As stated before, you can feel your ‘heart beat’ in many places around your body. There are 2 possibilities of what you are feeling. 1) You have a major vessel running down into your abdomen called the abdominal aorta. Like all arteries, it is flexible and so can expand and retract in rhythm with your heart beat. Maybe you have just become extra aware of it at the moment, but give it time and i’m sure you won’t notice it again. 2) Another possibility is what you are actually feeling could be a muscle twitch in the abdomen. I’ve had these on occasion and they tend to be rhythmic and persistent (also can be annoying). Although, i tend to think it is likely option 1. Muscle twitches in the abdomen often make people feel as though something is moving inside them rather than feel as though they can feel a heart beat. Hope this helps.
