Why can cats eat fish bones and not choke and humans have so much trouble with them?

Well if you’re a “Blackfish” (Tautaug), you have an extra set of “Crusher” teeth in your throat to crush, crabs, clams, and fish bones into powder.

Humans only have trouble if fish bone gets stuck in throat. Tinned cooked salmon, tuna and sardines are easily ingested by Humans. I would suggest cat food fish bones are similar to tinned cooked fish. Think cats would have just as much if not more difficult should a large cod rib bone get stuck in their throat.

Don’t believe on that statement cats can choke of it. I see lot of them.

They do choke. Your not meant to give any animal small bones as they get stuck in their throat!

Why is it you assume cats don’t choke? They do. Call your vet for confirmation. If you are gonna feed cats fish caught from the wild I suggest you clean it properly and cook it.
