IC 21-20-3-7 directs the librarian to mail a list of candidates to all alumni of the University. While we certainly try to respect the wishes of alumni who do not wish to be contacted by the University, current interpretation of the law requires us to send a ballot for the Board of Trustees election to all alumni for whom we have a valid address regardless of their wishes.
