It won’t take long to tell the Poison Center’s nurses and pharmacists what happened. You’ll get help right away, so you can often avoid an unneeded hospital visit and the costs. Rest assured the Poison Center does not keep a list of callers or report them. What types of calls are taken? The Poison Control Center answers questions about medicines, cosmetics, cleaners, auto products, plants, chemicals used at work, illegal drugs, and more. Both children and adults can get help.
