Why buy the cow if the milks free?
Would the chances of you getting married be greater or sooner if you don’t have sex with? Who knows? You say you’ve known him for years, but you just started “dating” him. Hell, I wouldn’t have sex with him right away. I don’t know that I’d hold out for marriage though. Also, I understand the relevance of the quote: “Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free?” You’re wondering if he’ll figure there’s no reason to marry you if he can have sex with you without marrying you. Well, if you don’t have sex with him, I’m sure he can find somebody who will without marrying. And if he wants to marry you, the fact that you have sex with him, if he enjoys it, could be encouraging. I guess it depends on if he wants to marry AND if he will decide he wants to marry YOU. But if that’s the main thing on your mind, you won’t be able to relax and enjoy the relationship and him. Also, you say you want to be “married and happy”, but if you marry the wrong person, it can be a nightmare. I would take
