Why Buy Lab-Created Diamonds & Gems?
Lab-created diamonds and gems are chemically, physically and optically identical to the mined gems which they replicate. Created in a laboratory, however, these gemstones avoid the waste and social & environmental impacts associated with gemstone mining. Strip mining used for many gems leaves permanent scars on the planet. Below is a photo of the now abandoned Mirny diamond mine in E.
