Why buy different channel intercoms in the same system?
When you set the intercom to a channel, A, B, C or D, the intercom can communicate privately with other intercoms set to the same channel. Presetting an intercom on a specific channel also allows you to set individual stations or groups of stations. When you want to call a certain group or individual intercom, you simply switch your intercom to the corresponding channel. Having different channel intercoms in the same system can help you organize your home or office. For example, in your home you may have the “Two Channel” intercom system in the bedrooms set to channel A and B, but your office and work space uses the “Three Channel” intercom set to channel C.
