Why Building Maintenance?
Students learn professional and personal development, good health habits and grooming, common courtesies, respect for personal and community properties, teamwork, management skills, good work ethic, positive attitude, pride in work, problem-solving abilities, self-confidence, attendance responsibilities, dependability, well-organized work patterns, effective verbal and written communications, leadership skills, computer skills, safety awareness and compliance to safety policies, and respect for co-workers and supervisory personnel. Projects Include: On and Off-Site Construction Projects, Custodial, Yard Maintenance and Building Maintenance Intership/Work-Study Programs.
