Ohio. • Grindstone park will be located minutes from Hopkins airport attracting visitors visiting the Cleveland area for pro events and business. • Skate boarding is the 5th most performed outdoor activity for all ages • Ahead of soccer, football, tennis, baseball, swimming & golf • 2nd fastest growing sport in the country • Since 1997, 98.5% increase in users. • Estimated 7 million BMX bike riders in the nation. • Estimated 29 million in-line skaters nationwide. • Recess is not available for Middle School students. • Berea needs to provide a safe space for youths and adults to enjoy a positive athletic opportunity. • Skateboarding, in-line skating and BMX free-style bike riding are currently three of the most popular recreational activities for young adults from 8-20 years.
