Why build a gunite pool?
Gunite is a classic method of swimming pool construction. Gunite actually refers to the method of placing concrete. Gunite is a dry mixture of cement and sand that is pushed through a “fire hose” via a large compressor. As the cement and sand mixture exits the nozzle of the fire hose, water is introduced as a bonding agent. The cement, sand and water create concrete, which is what a gunite pool is – a concrete pool. After the gunite application is finished, we still need to apply a finish material to your gunite pool in order for the pool to be attractive. The finish material is a crucial component of your pool. Numerous finishes are available in different colors, textures and materials.
