Why BS.Player connects to the internet at the startup?

When starting up BS.Player, it will connect to our server and check for newer BS.Player versions – only once per day. Also, BS.Player connects to port 8765 on localhost which is WinLIRC server, this function does not use internet at all. If you don’t want to use WinLIRC, then go to Options->Preferences->General and check option “Don’t use WinLIRC “.
