We, as Americans have a Constitutional right to air our grievances and petition the government. We are all a member of at least one special interest group either through our work, our politics or in some other way. If you have a job it is fair to say that a lobbying group is protecting your interests. So we have groups who are trying to represent their clients to a group of politicians. Sometimes the lobbyists go over the line and give more than they should or are allowed by law to give. They would not be a problem if we elected politicians who could not be bought by the lobbyists. So let’s all share the blame by sending politicians who are not morally fit to represent us.
