Prior to the trip, we owned several BMWs and were very happy with them. Not just the machines, but with the community of BMW riders. BMW has the reputation for being “The” overland motorcycle, and we feel they are up to the claim. There are other bikes that can do the job too, but if we were to do it again, it would be on our F650 Dakars.
