Why block pop-up windows?
Many online advertisements use pop-up windows that appear without the user’s consent. As a result, many browsers and software packages (such as Netscape 7.0 and Norton Internet Security) now include tools that can automatically block pop-up windows. Unfortunately, blocking often includes pop-up windows that the user may wish to view. Why does fidelity.ca use pop-ups? Like many other sites, fidelity.ca uses pop-up windows as part of its site navigation, because pop-ups allow a user to greatly increase the amount of information that can be viewed on a single page. This reduces the need to load multiple pages, and saves the user time. Fidelity has never used pop-up advertising on its site and has no plans to do so in the future. How can I resolve this issue? You can set your pop-up program to only allow pop-up windows from certain sites, such as fidelity.ca, or you could disable or remove your pop-up blocking software.* Allowing Pop-up Windows Only from Certain Sites Many pop-up blocker p
