Why at the end of romeo and juliet does juliet agree to marry paris?

0

juliet agrees to marry paris so that her parents will think she has agreed to take the proposal and she is on Capulets good side as he said if juliet did not marry paris he would disown her or something like that after she is told by the friar to take a potion athat will make her look dead so that the capulets will then realise their daughter is dead this is where juliet and romeo are meant to run away together but romeo genuinley thinks juliet is dead and kills himself but before that he kills paris who just happens to be lurking round the capulet tomb after that juliet stabs herself, so everything basicly goes kaput cause nothing went as planned.
