Why article 356 has been one of the most controvertial articles in Constitution of India?
Article 356 of the Indian Constitution has acquired quite some notoriety due to its alleged misuse. in many cases this article was invoked to fulfill the nefarios intentions of the party in the central govt virtually going against the intent of the constitution. SC judgement in the S.R.Bommai case and the Sarkaria Commission report in this regard should be consulted.
