Why aren we using Louis Garneau this year for our bike and tri stuff?
Louis Garneau makes fantastic clothing. However, this clothing comes with a long lead time (9 weeks after order is finalized and paid for), and high minimums (12 items of each style every time we order; and yes, that’s 12 mens, and 12 womens). This process does not support GGTC’s new effort to move to a pre-order system. I know, you’re thinking, “But we’re a club of almost 400 members! Surely meeting a 12 item minimum is not a big deal.” Well I am here to tell you that it is. If you really want to argue with me I’ll send you a bunch of pretty spreadsheets to prove you wrong; so trust me, we cannot support a 12 item minimum. Therefore this year we will be working with Pactimo for our bike and tri apparel.
