Why aren upper level courses offered at a variety of days and time?

A. Unfortunately, when upper level course are offered during the day they get canceled due to lack of enrollment. CLC’s student population reflects the general population and, as you who work second and third shift well know, the general population works days (and seems to get most of the benefits). The college is prohibited from running classes without a certain minimum enrollment. We would love to offer upper level classes in the morning or early afternoon, but regretfully the enrollment is just not there. We are adding more and more online courses as well as Saturday courses in the hopes that we can serve students who cannot attend weeknight classes.
